Le domaine
Located in the Enclave des Papes north of Vaucluse, and the beginning of the foothills, the area of Deydière there for three generations, always with the same passion in the development of its wines.
The beginning :
Initially, only milk production and market gardening were news because most of the land was fallow or woodland.
It was not until 1965 that the area of Deydière be converted into vineyards by planting different varieties in an idyllic setting for quality grapes.
In 1974, Maurice Laurent finished his dream by building his cellar, allowing him to make the drink that kept him at heart.
Our line :
With the motto "reconciliation of the vineyard with respect for the environment, we conduct our vineyards thoughtfully to promote quality.
Thus, the use of herbicides is forbidden since the creation of the. Regarding the treatment we use a large majority of copper and sulfur, to produce the most natural wine possible.
In order to be always in a quality and tradition we continue to make almost all of the harvest by hand, allowing us to collect and sort the best grapes.
Geographic Location :
Our vineyard is located further north of the southern Côtes du Rhône, the field consists of a rocky limestone plateau clay rocked much of the year by the mistral, and sandy soils (known as the Sahara) is warming rapidly Spring just expand the wealth of our soil.
Our vines are mostly exposed due south, giving us grapes bursting with sunshine.
The vineyards are on land designations "Cotes du Rhone" and "Cotes du Rhone Villages Valreas.
